Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate hand tools, and other duties as assigned.
Walk, stand, bend, and kneel throughout a shift.
Laborer - Second shift
Qualifications:
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for providing quality while performing miscellaneous manufacturing operations including but not limited to stacking off machines, hand glue or stitch, etc.
Stack off various finishing machines (via stacker or by hand).
Perform miscellaneous hand work such as bundling, folding, sorting, repalletizing, pallet construction, etc.
of corrugated or foam product.
As directed assemble miscellaneous items as specified on the work order.
Keep count of product produced and tag finished units.
Maintain good housekeeping throughout the plant, especially in work area.
Perform miscellaneous job functions as necessary to aid in production and quality.
Knowledge required:
Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
and basic to intermediate computer skills.
Reports to:
Shift Coordinator Internal contacts:
Close working relationship with Shift Coordinator, Operators, Helpers and other production personnel.
Occasional contact with the office personnel, shipping personnel, and other managers.
External contacts:
Occasional contact with vendors or customers ( i.
e.
during a customer audit or visit).
Physical capabilities:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, perform moderate to heavy lifting, turning, twisting and bending.
