General Assembler

Position Overview:
A General Assembler is responsible for operating equipment in a factory or warehouse and preparing items for distribution.
Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products.
Position Responsibilities &
Essential Functions:
Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approve specifications and quality standards Place parts in specified relationship to each otherBolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts togetherTends machines, such as automated machinery, to perform operations on assembly lineRotate through multiple stations on a shift to be familiar with all assembly Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy Routinely practice 6s (Safety, Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)Ensure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste Pack up completed products and prepares them for shipment Report issues or problems with production (equipment defects) to immediate Supervisor Observe and removes fault product parts from assembly line Other duties as assigned.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:
Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and others into daily activities.
Attend required safety training and participate in safety exercises Develop and maintains a clean, safe working environment for self and co-workersConsistently maintains acceptable level of productivity Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and armsRequired to use hands to finger, handle, or feel components or using controls on an assembly machine Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, 15 pounds, & 20 poundsRequired to stand on feet for long periods of time Often performing repetitious motions Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructionsAbility to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variablesAble to perform job duties safely.
Salary:
$17 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
