REHAU is seeking an ambitious, experienced Paint Supervisor for its North American Automotive business operations. With responsibility for various material groups for REHAU's manufacturing facility in Cullman, Alabama, you will ensure that the company's processes and procedures are followed. Specific tasks will include:
The position would take responsibility for the financial reporting and planning for the Automotive NA business. The role will prepare and co-ordinate the financial reporting of REHAU Automotive LLC, as well as liquidity planning in conjunction with region NA finance.
Personnel Management:
Supervise personnel on shift in accordance of the REHAU personnel concept and company policy guidelines.
Oversee personnel performance, quality, compliance with instructions, punctuality.
Coordinate training progress of new employees assigned to work areas.
Prepare work schedules for work areas, plan and evaluate substitute replacements in case of sickness or vacation
Production Management:
Ensure proper production reports are being established, list of causes if production not according STAKA, analysis protocol.
Ensure production process according working instructions and procedures, instruct personnel if instructions are not being followed, corrective actions to be taken.
Ensure the general safety in the work areas, prepare accident reports.
Responsible for the general work area tidiness, if production deficiency deploy personnel to clean work areas.
Conduct employee discipline meetings.
Conduct performance evaluations and subsequent discussions.
Quality assurance:
Responsible for compliance with quality requirements and customer demands,
Instruct personnel in work areas about the Quality requirements, training of laboratory instructions and procedures.
Improve the quality of the product, suggestions to avoid quality problems.
Worxcell meetings about the quality issues relayed back from the customer, countermeasures to avoid mistakes, lessons learned, improve the process.
Initiate Quality audits on regular basis in work area.
Ensure the laboratory testing parameters, instruct of process change if parameters outside specification, film build history, pull in support groups if necessary, production engineer/technician.
Follow any instructions outside his or her responsibilities provided by the Paint Manager.
Education and/or Experience Required:
High School diploma or technical college degree
Automated paint line experience required
Robot equipment experience required
MS OfficeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
