Required Skills:
Development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs
Developing and maintaining ISO 14001 certification
Maintaining compliance with OSHA
Workers compensation management
Developing and maintaining OSHA programs
OSHA facility audits
State and federal environmental compliance
Purchasing first aid and safety supplies
Developing and presenting monthly presentations
Candidates should have a background in Environmental, Health, and Safety in a manufacturing environment and be a proficient user of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Qualified candidates for this position should be customer focused, have excellent planning & organizational skills, have a strong attention to detail, have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, and be able to solve any problems that arise in a timely and consistent manner. In addition, candidates must be able to multi-task, work independently, and take initiative.
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Safety Administration or EHS Administration)
3-5 years in manufacturing (preferably automotive industry)
3-5 years first aid or EMT experience
First aid / CPR Certification
OSHA 30 Industry Certification
40 HAZWOPER Certification
