Industrial Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead all New Model projects with New Model group
Maintain New Model budgets and Purchasing requisitions
Assist with line layout improvements
Develop tooling for New Model and process improvement
Assist with New Model Kaizen activities
Attend daily production meetings
Attend all New Model shipping evaluations
Present New Model E-Review activities to senior management
Support all department SQCD activities
Plan new model activities and develop event SAP
Candidates should have good leadership and communication skills, be able to work in a team environment and have the ability to plan utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency.
Qualified candidates for this position should have excellent planning & organizational skills, have a strong attention to detail, have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, and be able to solve any problems that arise in a timely and consistent manner. In addition, candidates must be able to multi-task, work independently, and take initiative.
Required Education &
Experience:
High School Diploma
2-year College Degree or 5 years of manufacturing experience
Excel spreadsheet knowledge
ability to create formulas
Must have great presentation skills, including development of computer based graphs and analysis for reporting to senior management
Ability to read drawings and assist in New Model development
Additionally, the following experience is strongly desired:
New model start up experience
Cycle time studies
Auto Cad 2D, Inventor or Catia V5
Physical Requirements:
Capable of working periods of long work hours
Ability to travel both domestic and foreign
Able to handle stress and control emotion
